Looking for Great Cigars

One of the most iconic items for the alpha male is the cigar. Some say it is due to the prevalence of cigars in many "masculine" films. When you come down to it, these are merely rolls of a papery material, yet they seem to represent so much more to many of their users.

Some people belittle the importance of the cigar to users. Enthusiasts understand the value of a great roll, though. Cigar lovers walk around with their cigars, lit or unlit, meeting people, socializing, partying, or just spending quality alone time.

Enthusiasts also bond over their smokes. A lot of cigar lovers end up discussing the brands and makers they love best. Enthusiasts debate the virtues of a certain brand or type amongst themselves.

Cameroon is known for putting out excellent leaves. Many warm-climate countries produce fantastic leaves of tobacco, like Nicaragua. These products make their way to America through less strict rules than those imposed on cigarettes; they are exempt from many of the distribution regulations implemented on the sales of cigarettes and are not required to mention health risks.

It is fairly easy to find a cigar in the country: go to a convenience store or even a pharmacist's shop. It is slightly harder to find some of the more esteemed cigar makers' products, as they are carried only by particular sellers. Those who want better-than-average offerings can go to the specialized tobacco and cigar vendors.

Terrifically pricey items can be found in the Altadis section of a good cigar store. Altadis mainly relies on its consumers in countries like the US and Dominican Republic for profits. They are also known to make cigarettes.

Another major producer would be the company known as Swedish Match. It has manufactories all over the world, from the American continent to the European continent. Swedish Match also makes pipe tobacco, snuff and lighters.

Perhaps the third most sought-out cigars are those made by the Fuente Family from the Dominican Republic. With a hundred years of experience behind it, this particular brand's most famous offerings are the Montesino and Arturo Fuente. It also recently came out with the Fuente Fuente OpusX, a true cigar of note in the DR's cigar industry.

Another family that has been in the business for over a century would be the Leóns. They have spent more than a hundred years of working in the cigar industry. They are the makers of the León Jimenes, one of their most respected cigars.

Cigar usage is obviously going to persist for quite a while. Many now understand that a cigar is a valuable product, due to the attention given to them. A good number of the great artists, politicians, and writers from the past smoked cigars, and you might just enjoy knowing that you relax the same way they do.
